Serama Rooster is so loud!

I am trying to keep my little Serama family in the living room. Who knew such a little roo could make so much noise? I swear he's louder than my bantam cochin roo who is twice his size! I ordered him a no crow collar. I can't wait! I tried a sock and he took it off. Will he freak out with the collar too?

I was told they can't be under 40 degrees. They like people too. I have the chick as a therapy animal for my disabled daughter. She is very calm when she has an animal on her lap. She has less seizures. I want it to be in a cage in her room when it can be away from Mommy. She is 7 weeks old right now.
