Those who have owned the breeds:
How have their temperaments been, both hens and roosters?
How do they get along with your other breeds, if you have any?
How many eggs do you typically get from them?

Trying to find first hand experiences while debating on what breed to go with next. I have one oegb hen. I'd like to find a breed similar in type and temperament.

The seramas are going to be too small, even for the oegb. The sebright will likely do much better

Really?? Pixie is maybe a lb. I haven't weighed her in a few months, but she is tiny lol. It's so hard to imagine a smaller bird . How would you say a Japanese bantam would be size wise in comparison to an oegb? I do love the look of the Sebright as well.

The Japanese would also be a good size. I've only had hen sebrights, so I'm not sure about the roosters. I never had a mean Japanese male, and my females were docile apart from one yhat was likely just an outlier

I do believe I may go that route and go for the Japanese. Still going to do further research but I'm leaning that way I think. Thank you for the info!

I have sebrights, they get along fine with my other bantams. I don’t know how well they lay bc mine haven started laying. They are flighty. Have had no temperament issues with them. They are very beautiful birds. If you do go with sebright make sure to get ones with dark eyes.

Thank you for your experience as well! Can I ask why to look for the dark eyes?

Japanese would also be good or Silkies or if you don’t mind, mixed breed bantams are good birds to.
I do have a small flock of silkies as well. She doesn't mind them, but doesn't love them either lol. I find that she is much more flighty and likes to be all over the place, where as they are happy in their area I have set up specifically with them in mind. I was actually hoping for her to love my silkie rooster as much as my silkies do. I'd love to see what they would hatch out lol. But she seems pretty un-interested.
