Seramas...Toddlers...&... Diapers!

Hey Guys! I know some of you have little ones like me so I wanted to share this! I recently got a small flock of seramas that live in our sunroom but we also like for them to have free range time in the backyard....which as a general rule is the "chicken free zone"...because I have little ones and EVERYTHING goes into their mouth...thus chickens & toddlers can be a challenging thing! They also tend to be like magnets to chicken poo so they will walk or crawl through it which is just YUCK! Sooo...thanks to Carolyn in Virgina(BYC member!!!) she is the sweetest ever! She sewed me up some chicken diapers and WAHLAH!!! My kids can ejoy their chickens...my chickens can enjoy free ranging in my backyard and my grass & patio is poo-free!!! Just thought I would share! Great way to keep things clean!

First off....your boys are adorable!!!!!!!!

Second....those diapers are hilarious....

Years ago, when my kids wore diapers, I used the cloth diapers and when they had a 'load' it looked just like those diapers hanging low on your chickies. They don't seem to mind them, though!

They are a RIOT in the diapers!!! But they don't mind one bit!!!

Yep..I do cloth diapers with my boys so this is nothing new! It's actually pretty simple you stuff them with TP or a papertowel and whe you take the dipe off you just flush the dirty paper.

Oh my gosh, this is the best post ever on BYC!!!

I will have to tell my daughter-in-law, she is a cloth diaperer also and they will be moving their coop and chickens into their backyard soon. She is definitely going to want to know this is doable! What a wonderful life you and your family are living. May God bless you in your endeavors.
