They are so little and cute. I have some eggs ordered. Is it true that about 1/4 of them will die? Gosh that is a lot.

Are there other problems with them also?

I've never had any die after they we're born. A couple died in the shell, but that might have been a temp/humidity problem. They require no more care than an OEG or other bantams I have.

I'll let you know soon. I put 8 eggs under a broody 19 days ago, so they should hatch between now and thursday.I've heard it takes between 19 and 21 days.
