Well we did it.. set the eggs up for hatching.. this is my first time hatching eggs all the way thru... I have done it well over a dozen times with my nursing home residents but the farm usuallys comes in thier last 6 days.. sets up the incubator for us and then we watch the eggs hatch.. keep them for a week and then they go back to the farm.
This is the first time all together for my boyfriend. We collected 26 in hopes of picking 12 we liked to set in the incubator.. well we put all 26 in. I am sure we will have no problems getting rid of any extra chickies.
This is not very exciting at all... they are just sitting there turning in the egg turner ever soooo slowly... oh boy this is gonna be a long 21 days LOL
