set my first batch today in my first incubator

prolly not the best incubator, but I was given some eggs for transporting a cochin to someone so whipped it up quick and it has been holding steady at 100 with 40% humidity. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since this is the first time I have ever incubated eggs

Looks good! Don't forget to turn those eggs at least 3 times a day.

we're on day 16 I believe 2 of the orps have babies..the ducks I put in another incubator b/c they are muscovy and take 35 days..oh boy..lol

Nice job on the incubator. ANd you are on day 16 already. Did you build the second one for the muscovy ducks?? 35 days is a LONG time. Ducks must be good setters.

Actually I ended up buying a cheapo LG b/c I was given 40 eggs. I put the ducks in there. I'm going to use the one I made as my hatcher

wow congrats and well done. i built my own but had to play with it for a month to get it right
