Here is my setup for my 1st baby chicks coming from Cackle Hatchery. Have 9 coming
3 easter eggers
1 blk Australor
5 cream legbars

Looks like a good start! For more safety, put a stick of some kind through the clamp "triangle" of the light across the top bars of the crate.

To help keep the water/feed clean, put a piece of cardboard/plastic on top of the shavings, then put the water/feed containers on that. Chicks will scratch around and get poop and shavings into the water/feed very quickly.
 
Ah! Found a picture of what I mean. The plastic is a lid from a tote.

I used much the same set up as you are, the first time I brooded chicks. I lined the crate with sheets of cardboard, as chicks can escape through the bars of the crate when they're new.

As they grow, you can lower the temp in the crate. With the heat lamp, I did this by raising it. I had it inside to begin with. Then outside, sitting on some bricks (non-flammable!!), and eventually, I used a camera tripod to hold it above the crate.
