Hello!
I am setting 16 eggs tomorrow from my own chickens. I just plugged in the incubator and it is currently stabilizing. This is my second ever hatch and I’m super excited! The chicks will be going to the farm that I work at after they have hatched. Any advice is greatly appreciated and I will be posting lots of pictures!

The eggs are in!!

Use about 3 thermometers that are calibrated to check the temp. You never know when one's gonna be off.
Don't be afraid to pull hatched chicks after lockdown if they're dry and bumping other eggs around. Just keep some hot and wet paper towels or a warm spray bottle near by. Either put in the paper towels or give the incubator a light mist and the humidity will come right back up.

Thank you! I have 3 thermometers. I just hadn’t added them in yet in the picture :) I’m so excited! I just don’t know how I am going to cope with not being able to meet these little guys for 3 weeks!!

13 eggs are looking very good. I candles this morning and traced the air cells. They were doing little flips and dance moves in their shells! :celebrate Today is day 7. What do you guys think about the air cell size? I have barely added any water so far, and the humidity has stayed around 30%.
