I was wondering if it is to late to hatch out some chicks? I live in northern b.c if that makes a different we have a short summer.

im still hatching some eggs and still holding about a 90% hatch rate, i live in southern louisiana where its HOT but you just have to keep a close eye and not let em get to hot i usually hatch about 90 chicks every week but i am about to quit for the summer they just dont sell as well this time of year but you still can hatch some.

hey backwoods were do you sell your.. i buy some from dequincy sale barn and some from the feed store
i sell them out of my home but if i get to many sometimes i will carry them to dequincy and i also sell some to feed stores but this time of year they usually want buy none, i have about 70 of them now and more hatching as we speak but i hear dequincy is shut down till september is that true?

You can hatch eggs year round, you would have a better success rate using a incubater,i hatch year round,(not as many as cajun backwoods), lol,but i can sell the 4 -5 month old chicks faster then 4-5 day old chicks.
