i have some game birds i let free range and 1 was missing . yesterday my dog found the hen setting eggs in a grassy area i dont mow .i was hoping they would set and give me more babies.i heard game birds set and go brooder very easy

Yep, that's correct. I would be concerned about predators at night. Can you move her, or fence her in to keep her safe?
