so I had 1 hen that was laying steady 1 egg per day. She was hatched in April & has been laying for a couple months now. So for about a week, I was not finding any eggs in the nests. Figured it was the cold weather snap we had.
Today I found a nest FILLED with 7 eggs. The other chickens I have are from a hatch on Oct. 10, when I picked them up from Ideal. Which makes those chicks a little over 3 months. I didn’t figure they’d lay before next month at the earliest!
And yes, I KNOW those eggs weren’t there yesterday!
