These chicks will be 2 weeks old on Friday. One has a scissor beak that is quite severe, also another that I just started noticing a very very slight cross. This severe beak chick, i see her at the feeder/waterer however I can't say for sure if she is getting food and water or not. Ive never culled a chick, and I'm not even sure how, seems terrible. I just don't want this chick to suffer.

Honestly? I would put it down now, as difficult as that is. Some folks are able to raise them up, but they very rarely survive. It's SO difficult for them to get enough to eat, they are CONSTANTLY at the feed bowl. I had one that survived until she began to lay...then, once she started laying, it was just too much for her and she couldn't get the nutrition she needed. And, I provided a very deep bowl for her to scoop the feed up, as my avian vet recommended. She got biweekly beak trims done by the avian vet as well, and that still didn't help. When she passed, she was very, very thin. I'm so sorry.

I agree for this chick. Unless you are prepared to feed it and water it by hand every day to ensure its getting enough, it would be unfair to let it struggle to survive when it clearly is unable to do for itself.
I know it's tough! But we are the wards of the animals we keep and sometimes we have to put our feelings aside and do what is right for the animal, no matter how much it hurts us.

If you need direction on how to quickly euthanize the chick, let us know, and we can help you.

I do need help. I've never had to euthanize anything. I don't even like to kill bugs. But I wont let it suffer, so I'll do it

Heard of this, never seen it. Great pictures, thank you. Looking forward to the answer.
I had a goose that had angel wing and successfully fixed it.
I had a duckling that had wry neck and pigeon toes and had a heck of a time getting out of his shell. He is now 3. You never know.
Good luck with this cutie pie.

If you have to cull, I'd take it's head off. Quickly. Outside, but not in view of the others and use a VERY sharp knife. Don't be hesitant, be forceful and quick. Harsh I know but with my first cull I was too gentle then I kinda panicked. I felt horrible, but now I am more confident.
