Sewing seeds for my flock...HEAVY PICS

Just took the plunge, printed my order form and check in envelope. Will let everyone know how it goes... I tend to be on the inpatient side, so let's see just how long this takes. IF it works out well this could be just soooo great... Good luck everyone

Oh, Eggie! Good luck, and let us all know how it goes! The hardest part of me was once the greens got about 6" high, I REALLY wanted to let them in....but, I made myself wait until they were much more mature, and I'm glad I did so! GOOD LUCK!

Hi Wynette, we currently have a rinky dink set up 3'x5'. I made it with 1/2" wire stapled to a 1x1's frame I made and laid on the ground. That's been wonderful. The grasses etc grow up through the wire and our girls love it. They have access to this whenever they want AND the nice part is everything just keeps growing because they can't get at the roots... So far I've been smarter than them, but we'll have to see. This think I made is in "their" yard and amazingly when I let them out to free range they rarely wonder into MY garden. My garden is very much for them, with TONS of greens etc... I thought this would be a really fun thing to do???

Eggie, that sounds interesting! Do you have any pics you could post of it? I'm having a hard time visualizing. As far as "rinky dink" - gosh, NONE of my pens/coops are the Taj Mahal by any stretch, but they're clean and safe, and girls don't mind if every single board isn't nailed exactly straight!
