trying to pick some chickens for the fair. think number one is a hen, but some have said its a roo, any ideas? think 2 and 3 are roos.
who would be good for a fair?

Can you get some better pictures? Full body standing at attention? Try tempting them with a strawberry.

Is this for 4-H? You'll need to know if your fair has a category for Barnyard Mix. Otherwise, you'll need to ID the breed and enter the one the hits all the major points i. e. no disqualifications, though if you have Primary 4-H, they just get a participant ribbon anyhow.

For young 4-Hers, I would choose the one with the best feather quality and temperament and find a category for it. Small kids should have small birds.

i and 2 are hens.I'd need more body shots.they all look like hens.

3 is very possible a rooster.but I would wait until like a 2 weeks.
