Sex link chics?

We currently have some Black Australorps and a couple New Hampshire Red hens and a Black Sex Link rooster. He has orange instead of white like his brothers did. One of the hens decided to become broody and is 10 days in on her quest to hatch some eggs? Will the chics of either breed be sex link due to the rooster being one?

We also have a dozen Black Australorp pullets about 19 weeks old. They too are in with the BSL rooster and have been raised with a Barred Rock Cockeral. If the BR mates the BA's will they be sex links?

No, no sex links from your birds. A sex link from a barred bird required the female to be barred and the male to be non barred, basically. A bsl rooster will hatch 50% barred chicks from your solid hens. Your pure barred rock roo over solid hens will give 100% barred offspring. Neither one is tied to the sex of the chick in any way, sorry.
