What is the difference in the red ,brown and gold sex links? Are they different in color as they get older ?

Here is a pic of 2 of my red sex links. The red one is a pullet and the white one is a cockerel. They came from a RIR Roo and a Delaware Hen.

Red, brown and gold are pretty much made up of the same thing.

A silver female (Barred Rock, Delaware, etc.) are mated to a red male. This will cause the females to come out in a red color and the males to come out in a silver color.

It's just the different breeds that cause the variations.

Cool .I thought the feathers looked different when they got older or something...
