I have a couple questions for the geese gurus..
We have maybe 2-3 white Chinese ganders, and one white Embden gander.
All of our females are of the previous mentioned breeds, and all white, except one, who is a Gray.
The Gray female had five eggs. Yesterday two hatched and today a third, so far she has two eggs left to hatch.
This is a picture of the first gosling:
ALL three look exactly the same, right down to the beak coloration.
I was expecting something possibly like a pied coloration, with no specific markings to each bird, but so far that isn't true.
Has anyone had this possible result? If so is it possible that the three so far are female?
Does anyone have any geese of this possible cross breeding, if so, anyone have pictures they could share with me?
I'm interested to see what colors they might be when fully grown..
Any help or advice is welcome!
