Sex link or no ?

buff orpington rooster and rhode island red hen mix is sex linked? One of my chicks has red strip down back the other doesn't. Also does anyone have pictures or know what I should exspect egg and personality wise thank you everyone

Nope, not sex linked. You won't get any color sex linkage with a Red hen. The difference you're seeing is just normal variation when you mix breeds, like siblings from the same parents look different.

Production wise, they'll be between the two parent stock. So, probably not as well as the Red momma, but not a huge decrease.
