You have an Easter Egger, not a Sex Link, who happens to superficially resemble a Sex Link hen. Easter Eggers are also hybrids produced by crossing a blue egg layer (Araucana or Ameraucana) with another breed. The cross between a blue egg layer and a brown egg layer produces a green egg layer. Since, Easter Eggers have a lot of different parents, they come in all kinds of color patterns. Sex Links are produced by crossing a red gene rooster (RIR, HNR, or Prod. Red) with a silver gene hen (WR, RIW, SLW, Deleware, or Light Sussex), which gives you a Red Sex Link chick (males are whitish, females are reddish); or else crossing a red gene rooster with a barred gene hen (BR, CM, or Dominique), which gives you a Black Sex Link chick (males are black with a white spot on top of their heads and females are solid black).
