Sex link rooster questions

So, I purchased some new babies this year and ended up with a black sex link rooster and a RIR rooster in my pullet purchase... ugh so I’ve never had a rooster and certainly not two!! My question is if I keep one to try out which is best for being known to be more docile? I’m not a fan of roosters and will have to decide on the plan of action for getting rid of one or both but any thoughts? They are currently 7 weeks old so I have awhile.

If you're not a fan, then don't keep either. I'm not sure how a hatchery could possibly send an oops sex link cockerel. Or did you get them from TSC?

Agreed. If you have no reason to keep a rooster, and dont' want one... then don't keep any.
The only reason you would need to keep a rooster is if you plan on breeding.

Oh they were from TSC so someone obviously mixed them ‍

I have never had one in the past but thought I would give one a chance ? I just didn’t know if one breed would be better since one is a “mixed breed” and one is a “pure breed” if you will.
