Sex link skin ?

I hatched out two chicks which were Mosaic Leghorn and Mosaic buff orpington the Leghorn mix has blackish feet and the buff orpington mix has kind of dark skin so I'm totally confused , does that mean they're both girls or both boys or a mix-up?

For any cross that produces sexlinks, the daughters match their fathers and the sons match their mothers. So you've either got two female chicks, or there are some other genes involved to make it confusing :)

I've read a little about the genes for chicken skin color, but not enough to understand it thoroughly myself. I know some feather colors seem to go with dark legs and beaks, but without changing the color of the actual skin on the rest of the bird.
