Are you putting the Buff over the Light or the Light over the Buff?

I do not believe you will, but that's just my assumption. I know with my Light Brahma male over my Buff Orpington female, I wound up with chicks colored exactly like the Light Brahma male.
 
Huh...wonder what I did wrong when I did the reverse. Probably a good thing he was too mean to keep otherwise I would have had more projects!
 
All I have is the bird that came out of the Light Brahma x Buff Orp cross, but he has genetics that are even more screwed up than colors....LOL

Sex linked crosses only work one way because they're based upon dominant/recessive genes on the Z chromosome.​
