Sex Links in shows?

I have four Gold Sex Link pullets and I am interested in showing chickens. However, I was recently told that sex links can only be entered in the production category. Is this true for all shows? I'm not allowed to get any more chickens for shows, if I do want to get another chicken I have to give away my 2 EE chicks.

Yes, they're the same as showing Easter Eggers, as both are crossbred without a standard. Showing outside the 4H and local Fair world is about matching the standard of the breed, so, a Sex Link wouldn't fit in, as they're not a breed.

It is like entering a mutt dog into the Westminster Show.
