Hi all
I recently noticed my Blondie here is developing a much brighter red comb and wattles than her sisters of the same age. I asked around in a local chicken Facebook page but they laughed at me and told me it's just a rooster. My chicks were sexed at birth. I know that's not a 100% guarantee, but I've spent a lot of time with them and she just never stood out or did anything cockerel-like..
They are all 4 months old now and I couldn't really recognise them apart except from the pigment on the beak and now of course Blondie's red comb. If she really was a cockerel, wouldn't there already be different tale feathers?
In the first picture she's on the left and the second one in the middle. For me there's hardly any difference...
