Hello everyone I’m new here and to the chicken / duck life!! I got my ducks when they were about three days old they were sexed four or five times before I got them. The lady was sure they’re females, but the one is quacking and the other one isn’t yet I’m a little worried I might have a Drake I know around eight weeks is when they start to get their Drake feather, I’m not sure if anyone could help me with these pictures to determine if they’re absolutely females.

Voice sexing is the most reliable way to determine sex. Some drakes don't present the curly feather reliably and there was a member on here who has a confirmed female with a "drake" feather.
Does the duck in question make any noise at all? You can upload a video of rhe noises to YouTube or another video hosting platform and paste the link here for us to see. ☺️

Yes, they’ve both been very noisy since I got them. The other one doesn’t quack, but she definitely or he makes a lot of noises. I know every duck is different and they might quack at a different time than others. I was just curious what everyone’s opinion was. I’ve heard the quacking thing was a myth, but then I also heard that the Drake feather is a definite, but I guess that is busted too lol. Thank you

I'm one of those people who have a female with curly tail feathers. She quacks though and is super small rouen/mallard (I think she was in wrong bin at rural king.) Also she hasn't layed any eggs either. But her quack is very prominent.
