My Silkies and Ameraucanas are now 9-10 weeks of age. I am pretty sure I can tell the males from the females. Of the Silkies, I have two that have pretty large wattles and big(ger) combs and 3 with little combs and no wattles. Those 3 are also significantly smaller in size than the other 2. Of the Ameraucanas, 2 have larger combs than the other 5.
Is my guess pretty good or is it too soon to tell?
