I have a 3 week old Americauna and am wondering about its gender. Is there any way to tell at this age? Tail feathers? Comb development? Behavior?

thanks!

Nope, not that I know of -- sorry. Around 6 weeks you can start to pick out the obvious Roo's but some are still iffy. I had 4 and knew two were roo's at about 6 weeks, but was iffy on the other two. Ended up with one pullet (I was pretty sure by 8 weeks) and a cockeral who I just figured out for sure today. My first sign was the 3 row comb showing.
