So this is a 3 week old picture of my Australorp he/she is 4 weeks this Friday but he/she has changed more than my other two Australorp chicks. Is this a sign of a rooster or a hen that is older or changed more than the rest.

Another picture/angle

This is the another chick that came with the rooster above. The third chick looks so much like this one it is hard to tell them apart.

Just curious Thanks

My two Australorps are in the back here and are 4 weeks in this picture, they were sexed as pullets and look identical. Any red showing is from the red light, they have no red in their comb and no wattles at all and they were just feathering here and aren't fully feathered at 5 weeks.

Oh cool it looks like I had them in the same kinda of thing when I got my little ones a few weeks ago. I had 10 chicks but I am not sure what breed my other ones are. I have been web surfing trying to figure it out. Glad I might have two pullets. Thanks for the help.

Would you have any ideas about the breed of these three?

I have a feeling these three are Ameraucana (one buff, one gray and about darker gray in the background)

If this australorp chick is only 3 weeks old in this picture, it is almost certainly a cockerel, as his comb and wattles are turning red.

I think they are australorps but not 100%. That one has larger comb and waddle than the other black chicks. The all grey chick has a pink comb and another speckled chick looks like waddle are coming in red. I think the chicks are 4 weeks tomorrow.

Thanks so much!!!! I need all the help I can get this is my first batch of chickens and also 3 Muscovy ducks. Unfortunately I think I have two drakes because they dwarf my other duck in body size and foot size.
