sexing BR's

Can BR's be sexed at hatching,ifso how?
I've heard different way's,but wanted to ask here.

When they start to get their barring, the hens are darker than the roos.

Barred rocks can be sexed at hatch the males have more white on them and they also have bigger white spots on the tops of their heads. Most of the hens have minimal white and tiny spots if not pure black.

Out of 14,looks like 4 are pullet's....Oh well.....

Just remember that there are about 10% that will fool you. I have one of those BR hens that everyone thought was a cockerel for months.
