Sexing day old BR chicks??? help? *PICS*

i think you are probably safe, if they have dark on the front of the leg. although they do have larger headspots, they are still dark and not as silvery as the boys tend to be. i had some with huge headspots that were girls.

I really hope they are. If I know 100% that they are Roosters, I don't think I could enjoy them as much knowing I would have to get rid of one.
 
I bet beefster is right, so don't worry. I have had more girls with big headspots than boys with black legs, so you are more likely to have a boyish-looking pullet than a pullet-looking boy, if you know what I'm saying.
 
I have a friend who just got 5 BR's in her rainbow layer order from McMurray. All of their head spots look like that. Don't worry, the two are probably girls. Not sure what the other baby is, but I'm not seeing any spot at all...
