Hello, I have read several posts about this already, but I want some opinions on my particular ducks. I am new and am very impatient waiting to find out what sex my two ducks are! They are about 7 weeks old. I think the one with the black bead is a boy and the one with the brown bead is a girl, but the one I think is a girl has brighter orange feet and more yellow in her bill. What do you think?

The easiest way to tell at this age is by voice sexing. Have they started to quack yet? Unfortunately, drakes won't get their big boy feathers in until after the juvenile molt around 4 months old. Here is a video of my 7 week old female buff quacking. The KC in the video is female as well, but was far less vocal in the video. They are both the same age.

Someone seyd on here that the bead isnt rigjt very often, But what is almost always right is the sound of their voices

Males rasp and females quack

if you could pick up each one and get some noises on video someone here could tell you

Pretty ducks by the way!

I’m sorry to tell you but you have 2 boys. When ducks quack you don’t wonder, it’s that loud. Also, I may have posted this before, but Khaki boys have solid dark feathers above the tail, girls have lighter two-toned ones. Both of yours look dark and solid as best I can tell.
