Hi everyone! First time chicken mom here. Two silkies, three Easter eggers, coming up on five weeks old. We think we have one silkie roo and one ee roo, but what do y'all think? Also here for any and all advice you can give on keeping silkies and EE together 🥰

I do see some roosters signs, but they are still a little young to say for sure on all your birds. Many silkies can not be sexed until a few months old. The EE will be a little easier. If you post them in a couple weeks post each bird in its own picture with clear pictures from the front and from the side.

Hi there. I’ve got two silkies around 5 weeks old. I’m wondering what their sexes are. I’m pretty certain the orange one is a boy. But the white paint one I’m not sure? Would appreciate hearing what any of you think?

We are sure one of the darker ee is a boy now. He tried to crow a few times and is getting spurs. I'm wondering if in light of this I need to get a few more females? I only have two other ee and then the two silkies of which I think one is a boy (I have read silkies can't mate with other chickens bc they're too small?)
