I have never heard of spur sexing.. or it just might be me. I would go with feather sexing if you can.i posted this tread for trying to order out my flock and is spur sexing easiest or feather.
i have black stars, silver laced Wyandotte, rhode island reds, bronze laced wyandotte, brams, tophats ( polishes ) and thats all of themIve never heard of spur sexing, but feather sexing is only recommended for certain breeds. What type of chickens do you have and what age?

ok thanksI know this thread is a bit older...
For your breeds, I don't *think* that feather sexing will work.
Spur sexing (I'm assuming you mean if they have spur buds, that means cockerel?) Well, hens also can have spurs (I have a Cuckoo Marans with 1.5 inch spurs) and all of my pullets/hens have spur buds, so that method is not accurate.
The best way for us to help sex your chicks is for you to post clear photos of each in natural lighting, especially close ups of their combs at about 6-8 weeks.
Once they are 12 weeks, you can also post photos of their saddle area.
