sexing older chicks

Is it possible to sex a 14 week old chick by checking their vents or can that only be done on day old chicks? Thanks.

I don't know.. But at 14 weeks you should be able to tell by the size of the combs and pointy hackle/saddle feathers (or lack of).

Agree. At 14 weeks, most breeds are very, very obvious. Post a picture or two and the gang here will ID them right quick.

Vent sexing only works on day 1, *maybe* day 2. After that, you must use a different sexing method.
