Hi
I have a suposed male pheasant but it haves 14 weeks and don't change it's feathers. Is agressive and "protect" the pen when a new bird goes on and because of this I thought that is a male. Also I saw it fighting with it0s brother.
Tell me how much time need to change it's feathers. I want to see that green head and pearling feathers.
Thanks

Anyone can help?
He has 3 months in this photo, only changes the tail feathers, more large.

Thanks

hen, you would see some colour in it already if it was a roo... i think mine start showing colour around 8 weeks... pheasant hens will be agreesive to new birds as well...
