Sexing polish chick by crest shape.

Guess the sex of my 10 day old golden laced polish! I found this resource that says it's possible to fairly accurately guess the sex of polish chicks by the shape of their head fluff.

I've also seen posts on here saying this isn't true. I've never had a Polish before. What's your experience? And if you think it can be done, what's your guess on mine?

Never heard of it. By that technique yours is a male. I guess time will tell.

Yours is also a laced variety which has a different type of topknot than the white crested which has a tighter one.

Thanks. I thought it looked round, so I'm hopeful. But it's a free extra chick from McMurray, and those are always presumed male until proven otherwise!
