Sexing RIR Chicks

Most of the time by 3 weeks the roos will have larger pink combs and starts of wattles. They will be pink too. Your girls will have small beige color combs. Also the boys will be more bold. I had one roo that we could tell shortly after hatch. He had a big comb from the start and was never afraid of anything.

Ok, thanks guys! I've been just watching the chicks for comb color and size, but I was hoping maybe there was a trick like with some other breeds where you can look at the wings when they start to get feathers.
