Sexing silkies

Hi all!

My silkies are 8 weeks old and there gender is driving me crazy!!! It’s definitely a 4 to 1 ratio but can anyone help me figure out what gender they are?

To me, they all look like pullets, but I may be wrong....

8 weeks is way early for silkies, post again about 12 weeks. I can give you a guess, 50/50 chance of being right. Lol. 3 Pullets, 1 Cockerel. Post again at 12 weeks.

OP the chick in the back in the last picture might be a cockerel.

Elmo I think the one with the orange head is a cockerel

Post at 12-14 weeks. Silkies are really hard to sex, sometimes not til they crow or lay. I can give you a 50/50 guess also. 3 Pullets and 1 Cockerel. Last pic, the one standing by the Splash on right, looking at her looks to be the cockerel. Again only guess post again.

Hmmm? Cockerel will get a red comb early on. Mine are 8 weeks and I definitely know the Cockerel from the Pullets

Not necessarily, I have Silkies with black combs. If I post pics of all my baby silkies, you’ll be able to tell me what sex they are? By 8 weeks?

Don't get that way please..I definitely can sex mine. Mine crows now. At almost 10 weeks red comb.

No, I wasn’t trying to be mean!!! I was serious, if I post pics of my babies, will you be able to sex them. I have 9 that are about 6 weeks and 2 that are about 4 weeks. I’m sorry if I came off harsh, that was not my intention, I was trying to hurry and apparently didn’t watch my wording. Again I apologize.
