Sexing

Is it true that you can tell if the chick is going to be female or male by lifting it upside down by the feet and if it fights it gonna be a roo and if it just lays back a pullet?

If that were true, I think hatcheries would use that method rather than having to bring in vent sexing specialists.

Yeah that is what I was thinking to but I just wondered if there was nay proof that this worked at all is all
