SF Bay Area, California wanted: silkie chicks

Hello all!

I am looking to purchase a smaller batch of silkie chicks (3-5). I am hoping to find them pretty young. Does anyone out there nearby have any chicks either now or coming up? Most of the feed stores have no idea when they will be getting bantams or silkies in.

I know this person has silkies but not sure if she has it now. Check out their website http://petstouch.com/birdfinder.asp She's located in San Jose, it's a petting farm but I bought some RIR from her a few months ago.

If Sacramento isn't too far you should look on craigslist...I've seen lots of silkies listed over the past week or two.

I'm in San Jose and don't have silkies right now but check Farmer's Feed in Gilroy on 10015 Monterey Rd. I was there 2 weeks ago and they had silkie chicks for $5 each.
