SGE Gender

First time chicken owner, so I’m learning as I go. I went to TSC (two different locations) to make sure I got from the pullet bin. I live in a neighborhood that has a no-rooster clause in our HOA documents, but we can have up to 4 hens.

I’m a little worried about my SGE. Sassy is more skittish than the rest but I’m afraid that her (at least I’m hoping it’s a her) might be a cockerel. They should be somewhere between 6-8 weeks old. I got them on 2/28.

Can’t keep them due to the HOA. We can have up to 4 hens. The person behind (who is not in our neighborhood) has multiple roosters, so maybe I can just play it off as it’s not mine

Oh thats lame. I've heard you can say that your roo is an emotional support bird and they'll let you keep it.
