Shade for run...???

thanks for all the advice I have a tree growing behind their runs but its gonna be a few years before its big enough to provide enough shade. So the shade cloth sounds like a good idea to me. I am on my way now to get some. Thanks everyone!

We use the shade cloth on part of our run. You can get it at Home Depot too. That's where we got ours. There was a choice of green, grey, and blue. We went with the grey because it said it cut about 75% of the heat and only 20% of the light (or something along those %'s). It works great here in south Texas.

Shade cloth works like a champ... clip it down and it breathes, is quiet, reaallly durable (mine made it through a Jackson Hole winter and looks brand new) offers shade AND sort of looks nice too.

I got mine at a garden center, but suspect it might be cheaper at Lowes or Home Depot... don't forget the clips
