Shade house

Hi all

We have two Wyandotte bantams and a small backyard that is 60% filled with shade house 50% shade cloth containing ferns, bromeliads and orchids, another part of the yard has rainforest plantings and grass area of about 50sqmtrs. My question is, will it be okay to place the coop and a run of about 2 x 4 mtr in the shade house. We can let the hens out into the yard for short times and have no concerns for shade house plants. There are plants in the open area that we need to protect and can do so. We are just concerned that the hens may suffer due to the shade conditions. Any advice is very welcome.

If they can get to the plants, there's a good chance they will shred them.
They need sunshine, but also shade if it's hot where you live.

Thanks for your reply. We get hot summers average 28c frequently in 30c. Overall average is 21c. Understand the shredding and have no real concerns, we will adjust to the hens free ranging habits by protecting susceptible plants. Added detail to profile.
