I love mornings, walks in the woods, watching my hens search for big bad bugs,

and I love this site!

I love getting new chicks, and I love my old hens, My dogs are amazing, and I love riding my friends crazy Arabians too!

I love my job but probably because it is only part time, lol...

I just can't get enough of nature, and it's miracles.

Just enjoying the sun now as it peeks out after a really heavy downpour. Lovin' Life!

 

[Whispering Winds]

I love the giggles of babies and toddlers, a soft spring rain on a balmy day, Christmas excitement, watching the alpacas act silly in this cooler weather, laughing at Frank the Pug wanting to go to bed, but can't because his mommy (me) hasn't went yet, and he is falling asleep on his feet. I especially love it when DH is feeling good and in a good mood and not grouchy and critical about everything and everyone. I love the smell of mowed grass, leaf burning, and the taste of a burnt over the fire hot dog and s'mores! I love the first big pot of potato soup and crackers and being with loved ones for any reason.

My DH got a job in town for "normal" hours!!! No more 45 minute comute, no more getting up at 4 am and working 10 hour days!!!

Our broody hatched out 7 of 11 free range eggs for us last weekend. Now I get to experience the frantic chick "The HAND is coming to get us!!!" run around routine on a daily basis again. I had forgotten how cute that can be. Even better with a nervous broody clucking in with her "Hand stay away from my chicks!!! Hand I'm warning you!!!" Now Hand!!!!"

Listening to my kids argue in the back seat this morning about what kind of milk you get from a boy cow... made me laugh out loud! Chocolate? Orange juice?? So funny. they are 4 and 6
