Sharp Frizzle Feathers

Hi! I'm wondering if anyone has advice on frizzle wing feathers? All 3 of my fizzle gals have grown these awful weapons. I read that it was just unpreened keratin sheath and that I could maybe help them get it off, but I've had no luck. She seemed to not like me pulling at her wings, and also some of the feathers broke. I'm planning to just let them be for now in hopes that the issue resolves itself. The gals have such pretty frizzle feathers normally, I want them to be soft and fluffy again!

Is she possibly a frazzle? Both parents frizzled?

That's the actual feather shaft, not keratin bound feathers

Nope. I hatched her last year, frizzle roo and smooth hen.

Also her feathers have been fine until now. I had a frazzle from a hatchery and she had terribly brittle feathers and very red skin, pretty awful.
