My hens are about 15 weeks old...they are egg layers and haven't started laying yet. However they all like share the same nesting box. There are 6 of them and they alternate between which box they all share. I am surprise they even all fit in the same but they do. Any suggestions on how to get them to pick their own? Or will they eventually go in their own when it comes time to start laying?

From the reading I've been doing here on BYC, I note that most chickens seem to like to share boxes. Out of our 6, we usually get 5 eggs a day...two are almost always in the box and the other three get laid on the floor. I'm not particularly concerned with who laid what, so I just let 'em decide what they want to do :)

It's normal. Spend time, effort, dough and build 25 boxes, each box a palace...and they choose one and ignore the rest.

It's good to have some alternates so leave all the boxes there. Some switch around as they get older. Personally, I find it entertaining. :)
