She’s got to be the ugliest chicken right now...

My almost a year old Millie Fluer D’uccle is molting. She is so ugly I feel sorry for her. The upside is it looks like she will be getting her white spots in!



This was her last week starting to loose chest feathers.

Oh no! Poor goofy baby. She looks like somebody wadded her up a bit. So rumpled!

well, never mind.

Here is another before picture. Even her new leg feather look different. She was a bit younger here.

Poor thing...they do look pathetic when they're molting. Hope you'll update us on her 'new look' when her feathers come back in!

I dunno. I think my RIR could give her a run for her money, as Penny (my RIR) is molting and looks horrible!
