She Finally Laid!!!

Hey guys, I forgot to post a forum about this yesterday. My EE finally laid! On Wednesday, she was like checking out the nesting boxes. Then, yesterday on Thursday, she laid. But, at first she just kept running around and jumping near the nesting boxes. Then she would go inside one and then come out. The hens were all really annoyed. I have a video of her laying it if your interested. Anyway, it’s a green egg. Just wanted to share the good news.
It’s kind of like an olive egger.

How many do you have? Non of my 12 girls are paying any rent at the moment! Everyone is taking a break

We have 7 we get about 4-5 eggs a day the shortened days don’t seem to affect them. But, they are laying less frequently than in the fall.

My EE was hanging out in the nest box by herself today. It's been cold and rainy so I figured she was just lost but maybe it's a sign
