When we bought her I just assumed it would grow. Almost 6 months later it never happened.

hmm, that is odd. I have never had that happen.

The bald patch might be from a rooster. Do you have any? It could also be from other hens pecking her, while establishing dominance.

We do have 2 roosters but neither would ever touch her. The other chickens we have never would either. Although she is the smallest she has made it clear she ain't nothing to mess with.
