She thinks I'M weird!

I was outside during my lunch break today and a fellow nurse was chatting with me. While we were talking I noticed a worm struggling on the cement near our feet. The rain had stopped and the sun was breaking through. Absent-mindedly I stopped, picked it up and walked it three feet away to a patch of grass.

My co-worker flipped out! I mean she got mad! Told me she was going to vomit! Told me "that's not natural"!

Now does anyone else see the obsurdity in that? A worm, unnatural.

It's beyond strange to me. She is a city girl, but surely to gawd she played in a puddle somewhere growing up!

She pitched such a fit that I began to describe in great detail all the newts, snakes, frogs and toads my sons and I had ever caught.

She left.

I don't care if the city kids think I'm strange...keeps 'em wondering.

People like that lady scare me! Course I've always been weird. When I was little, a boy from next door brought me a snake. (non poisonous) I got all happy and thanked him, and he went away in a huff. I heard from his sister later that he was trying to scare me with it. LOL.

Thats sweet,I like to go huntin for worms and such under rocks and paves to give to my chickens,they just follow me around waitin for me to lift something! how do I submit photos? when I try I get a message that its too big,how do iI make the photo smaller?
